Salary:- New SCP 37 – 41 (£39,782 – £43,662 – Subject to National Pay Settlement – Pending.)

Kendal Town Council, a forward looking, proactive Council, is looking for a first class Manager to undertake the duties of the post of Town Clerk based at the Council’s offices at Kendal Town Hall.

The Clerk to the Council will act as the Proper Officer of the Authority, and as such, will be required to ensure that all legal, statutory and other provisions governing or affecting the running of the Council are observed.

Excellent verbal, written and inter personal skills are essential, as is a knowledge of local government procedures.
