Situated in Brantwood’s former coach house, The Terrace offers a unique combination of sublime scenery, cultural heritage, and casual coffee house culture. Our menu presents a variety of creative and seasonal dishes including hot lunches, salads and specials, served by our bright and attentive team.
£20k – £24k per year depending upon experience
We are looking for a sous chef to join our expanding team. All our food is made in house, using all seasonal produce from the finest local suppliers, as well as produce grown on site.
We are looking for an experienced sous chef or junior sous ready to take the next step; that is comfortable in the fresh food environment, has flair and passion, a fantastic eye for detail and someone who is also able to cater for large functions.
In return you will receive great work-life balance, rates of pay and the view from the kitchen window isn’t too bad either.
Events Catering Coordinator
£8.50 PER HOUR
The Terrace has a busy events schedule with groups, weddings & private functions. We are looking for someone with strong customer focus to plan these events with customers, working with the chef and daytime catering supervisor in menu preparation, costing, rotas and taking responsibility for the delivery of the events.
This is a full time position averaging 32-40 hours per week, with a degree of seasonality. A flair for organisation and customer service required. Hours are made up with front of house daytime duties also as required.
Front of House Staff
£7.83 PER HOUR
Seasonal front of house staff required to work part-time & full-time. Duties will be customer focused, and include serving customers, washing up, and using barista equipment. Experience in a cafe or restaurant is welcomed, but not essential!
