Kendal Town Council has the following vacancy:
PROJECT MANAGER (Maternity Cover)
18.5 hours per week
Pay Range £27,905 – £32,878 pro rata (according to experience). Local Government pension scheme.
We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for delivery of projects identified by Kendal Town Council and its Action Plan. This will include responsibility for the entire project lifecycle including overseeing the work undertaken by contractors. The role also includes responsibility for production of the Council’s Newsletter, management of the Council’s website and appointment as Data Protection Officer for the Council.
Applicants should be a self-starter with experience of project management in a relevant sector. They should possess experience of dealing with the public and contractors, partnership working, undertaking project planning and delivery and use of IT. They should also have good communication skills, be able to prioritise workloads and be flexible.
