Kendal Town Council has the following vacancy:
Part-Time Town Treasurer (Permanent)
18 hours per week
Pay Range £36,153 – £39,961 pro rata (according to experience). Local Government pension scheme.
We are looking for a Town Treasurer who will be the responsible officer for the day to day management of our financial systems.
Applicants should be a Qualified Accountant, possess excellent communication and decision making skills, show flexibility, demonstrate initiative and be able to prioritise workloads. Experience of Sage and Microsoft Office are essential and experience of working in the public sector and a busy office environment would be desirable. Evening work is required (max. twice per month).
