EVENTS ASSISTANT

Cartmel Racecourse is owned and operated by the Holker Estate. It has a rich history and offers a special sense of charm and excitement which is unrivalled elsewhere on the racing circuit. Holker Hall is the home of Lucy Cavendish and her husband Tor McLaren, magnificently situated only a short distance from Grange-over-Sands and the expanse of Morecambe Bay.

We are looking for a permanent full-time Events Assistant to join us to support a very busy operation across both the Racecourse and Hall & Gardens. This broad role would suit someone who is looking for a career in events. You will be working with us to deliver exceptional event experiences for all of our guests at Cartmel Racecourse and Holker Hall & Gardens.

Candidates must be customer focussed, flexible, adaptable and be able to demonstrate previous operational experience in terms of planning, problem solving, working under pressure and professionalism. The candidate will also need to have excellent telephone skills, patience and a good level of computer literacy and administrative capability.

A competitive salary is offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.
